Giovanna Zampa is an undergraduate student studying for a degree in Social Work with a minor in Counseling & Social Change. While she is originally from the Bay Area, Giovanna has enjoyed learning about and getting involved in the San Diego community. In addition to this research work, Giovanna also works twice weekly with a local organization (PATH) as a Career Center Volunteer. She loves to work with PATH clients and help them do everything from create a first email account to edit and print resumés! After graduation, she hopes to continue working with vulnerable populations to tackle large issues of social equity and justice.
