Adriana Rios is a second-year master’s student in the Psychology department at SDSU with a concentration in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience. Her academic/research interests include advocating for fair and equal access to resources and early interventions among underrepresented communities. Adriana has a strong desire to give back to her community and has been working with Dr. Welsh-Caroll as a research assistant for community-based research involving San Diego’s homeless population with a focus on sanitation and hygiene.
